Is Ounie really free?+
Yes. Your first brain is free forever, with no credit card required. You can upload sources, build your wiki and knowledge graph, ask cited questions, and share publicly on the free plan — upgrade only when you need more brains or team features.
What's the difference between Free, Pro, and Team?+
Free gives you one brain to try everything. Pro unlocks unlimited brains, higher question limits, and API & MCP access for individuals. Team adds collaboration and removes Ounie branding from embeds — built for groups sharing a shared knowledge base.
What are credits and when do I need them?+
Every plan includes a bundle of widget questions, pooled across your widgets — a one-time 1,000 (lifetime) on Free, 5,000/mo on Pro, and 25,000/mo on Team; credits cover widget questions beyond that, plus paid-brain usage in the marketplace and Auto-Research. Your own private questions don't use credits — Free runs on a non-expiring bank of 1,000 questions, Pro and Team on a monthly quota.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. Paid plans are month-to-month and you can cancel anytime from your billing settings — you keep access through the end of the period, and your brains and sources stay intact when you return to the free plan.
